FBinsure is proud to announce that as of July 2018 it has acquired the Jose S. Castelo Insurance Agency, an independent agency located in New Bedford, Dartmouth, and Fall River, Massachusetts. Established in 1981 by Jose S. Castelo, this South Coast agency provides personal and business insurance to nearly 5,000 clients while also offering real estate and mortgage services. At FBinsure, we are excited to have the current President of Castelo Insurance Agency, Jose S. Castelo, maintaining a role within the agency throughout the process to ensure a smooth transition to FBinsure.
“We wanted to ensure our clients would be able to work with the same people in the same offices and gain access to additional products and services that would benefit them. FBinsure was the right partner for our employees and our clients for today and the years to come,” stated Jose S. Castelo.
Initially, we plan to make small changes to the agency, mainly aimed at updating technology and providing greater access to new companies.

FBinsure can now count eleven total locations throughout Bristol and Plymouth Counties, including their offices in Taunton, Attleboro, Middleboro, Dighton, Rehoboth, East Freetown, and New Bedford.
