Doreen's insurance journey began the day after she graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School.  From a file clerk for an agency in Mattapoisett she worked her way up to Office Manager at the age of 20, while also attended college at night to earn her associates degree.  She eventually moved to an agency in Brockton as an account manager and after a few years was promoted to Office Manager in their Quincy location where she remained for 10 years.  After taking some time away from the industry to start a family a raise two twin sons, she rejoined the insurance business with Farrell Backlund Insurance Agency in a part time position, processing endorsements and new business applications.  Her mother’s hours continued until her children entered to Middle School, when she was quickly offered a full position with FBinsure as Branch Manager of the Rehoboth office.  Recently, she was promoted to the Assistant Vice President of Personal Lines Operations. Having been in the insurance business for 38 years, she currently hold the AAI, CISR, CPPL, CPIA and CPIW designations.
