This month’s Jean’s Day advocate is Doreen White who is a member of our AVP team. Doreen was introduced to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by the current Miss Taunton, Lyndsey Littlefield. Lyndsey has been involved with the Miss America Organization for the past 5 years. This organization raises money for the CMNHs each year.

More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like your local children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals makes sure that donated funds stay local which means that your donation helps kids and families right here in our community.
We are very fortunate to have 3 of those hospitals right here in New England. Boston Children’s Hospital, Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Bay State Children’s Hospital are all located in New England.
