Small Business Account Manager

At FBinsure we are committed to a client-centric approach. As a Small Business Account Manager, you are more than an insurance agent to our clients. You are an advocate, insurance educator and expert communicator. As a Small Business Account Manager, you will help our clients navigate the complex and oftentimes confusing world of commercial insurance. Insurance can be a maze for small business owners who are already stretched thin, making an advocate who can effectively translate complex insurance coverage topics, recommend actionable solutions and support them at the time of a claim so critical. It will be your responsibility to work with clients to ensure they are getting the best value and coverages for their business needs and budget.

Position Specification

  • Commercial Lines department – Property & Casualty
  • Hours 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Hybrid work model; work from home & in the office by appointment
  • Teamwork & time management are essential to this position. Good communication with your team ensures a smooth client experience, while the ability to prioritize and manage your time appropriately is key to fast-paced insurance transactions and relationships with business decision-makers.
  • Minimum of 2 year industry experience
  • Understand and answer commercial insurance queries related to coverages, exclusions and exposures
  • Respond to commercial clients needs and requests

Candidates w/ the following will be given priority

  • 3+ Years Commercial Lines Experience
  • Insurance License

Personal Lines Sales Executive (Producer)

At FBinsure, we are committed to tailoring insurance to the individual needs of our valued clients.  As a Personal Lines Sales Executive, you are more than an insurance agent to our clients. You are an advocate, insurance educator and adept communicator.

A Personal Lines Sales Executive’s responsibilities include providing that tailored approach for opportunities that call or walk into our offices, seeking out new business, and rounding and upselling existing accounts. Using your expertise, you will educate and advise personal clients on the right coverage options for their specific needs. Your role will have you working with clients and alongside carrier partners to analyze policies and exposures, understand client needs, and design insurance programs according to FBinsure guidelines.

Insurance, while critical, can also be a maze. It’s our mission to ensure our clients are well-advised and know their specific needs and concerns have been addressed. It will be your responsibility to work with clients to ensure they are getting the best coverages and value for their needs, recommend actionable solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills – Above and beyond communication with clients, your team and carriers ensures a smooth client experience and fruitful relationships.
  • Time management skills – The ability to prioritize and manage your time appropriately is critical to a role in which you create opportunities for yourself and manage personal/professional relationships.
  • 2 years’ industry or sales experience
  • Meet with and service prospective walk-in clients
  • Detailed-oriented and determined to complete the sales process
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office / 365

Responsibilities

  • Develop leads and prospects for through marketing efforts, centers of influence, and referral opportunities
  • Prequalify insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk
  • Educate clients on risks, coverages, and agency procedures and standards
  • Achieve individual sales objectives
  • Create insurance proposals, make sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new business
  • Complete and submit applications and related documentation to appropriate insurance markets
  • Be cognizant of prospect’s time, make arrangements to meet at their convenience
  • Contact clients at renewal to discuss rounding and upselling existing accounts
  • Attend departmental and agency meetings as required
  • Refer clients to other departments for products in commercial lines and financial services
  • Be an active community leader and participate in at least one networking group.
  • Develop centers of influence who deliver sales opportunities on a regular basis.

As a Middle-Large Market Commercial Producer, you are more than an insurance agent to our clients, you are a Risk Advisor. Utilizing our proactive approach to addressing risk in the organizations of our clients, you act as an insurance educator, business advocate, and expert communicator.

As a commercial producer you will seek out and provide business owners in mid to large market businesses tailored risk advisory services and insurance support. After performing an in-depth analysis, access to a strong carrier relationships and a wealth of tools will help you to provide clients a tailor risk advisory plan a complete insurance package to build meaningful and ongoing client relationships.

Commercial insurance can be a maze for any business owner but as an organization grows, so do it’s risks and exposures necessitating a risk expert. As an integral part of the business community, you deliver the expert guidance they need to make educated insurance decisions that fit their needs and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
  • Cultivate existing relationships to create additional cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships & trust with clients and fellow employees
  • Works with CL Account Managers and agency staff to provide excellent client service
  • Assist with developing risk advisory plans, make sales presentations, and close sales
  • Keeps abreast of trends and techniques, and uses agency selling aids to maintain a competitive status for the agency with the industry.
  • Attend sales seminars, company sales meetings, training sessions or educational activities needed to improve sales techniques, stay up to date on the latest developments in the marketplace and perform to full potential.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through regular email and leads, referral sources and centers of influence
    • Responsible for generating new business through calling and emailing of business as well as utilizing centers of influence
  • Be an active community leader and participate in at least one networking group.
  • Develop centers of influence who deliver sales opportunities on a regular basis.
